Comparison of the Overall Efficiency of Fresnel and Prismatic Solar Concentrators

Abstract

Solar concentrators are frequently characterized by an acceptance angle that specifies optical efficiency when the concentrator is misaligned. Here we compare the combined optical and electrical efficiency of Fresnel and Prismatic-type solar concentrators.
