Optimal Two-Dimensional Bravais Lattice for Wavelength-Scale Photon Management in Solar Cells

Abstract

Many photon management techniques use the square lattice in solar cells. With theory and simulations, we demonstrate the optimality of the triangular lattice among all Bravais lattices for antireflection, light trapping, and open-circuit voltage enhancement.
