Abstract
Existing and emerging electro-optical, infrared, and hyperspectral sensor technologies show great promise for enabling the development and development of real-time airborne systems for border patrol and persistent surveillance applications. In order to develop an effective intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance system, it is essential to match three key components--the sensor technology, the real-time processing of the sensor data and the desired aircraft flight parameters.
