A Confocal Optical System for Detecting High-speed Oscillation of a Single Ultrasound Microbubble

Abstract

Microbubbles play significant roles in ultrasound imaging. Direct observation and investigation of microbubble oscillations are expensive. We developed a confocal optical system for detecting microbubble oscillations. This system is cost efficient and provides acceptable results.
