Improved Depolarization Imaging in Polarization-Sensitive Optical Coherence Tomography

Abstract

We demonstrate that the superior contrast of the differential depolarization index (DDI) compared with the degree of polarization uniformity makes DDI a promising candidate for characterizing depolarization with polarization-sensitive optical coherence tomography images.
