Pressure Modulation Algorithm to Separate Cerebral Hemodynamic Signals from Extracerebral Artifacts

Abstract

We applied a novel pressure modulation algorithm to isolate cerebral blood flow signals from extracerebral artifacts during optical monitoring of scalp hyperemia in a healthy adult. This was achieved without a priori anatomical information.
