Correlation gating quantifies optical properties of dynamic media in transmission mode

Abstract

We apply correlation gating with interferometric near-infrared spectroscopy (iNIRS) to separate ballistic and scattered light transmitted through thick samples. By analyzing each component, we determine optical properties of a dynamic medium from one measurement set.
