Quantitative Blood Flow Imaging at Photon Shot Noise Limit with Heterodyne Synthetic Multi-Exposure Laser Speckle Imaging

Abstract

This paper demonstrates a novel imaging instrument and model for fast, quantitative imaging of blood flow at shot noise limit. Our approach is capable increasing the signal to noise ratio (SNR) of traditional sensor.
