A Quantitative X-ray Fluorescence Imaging System Used for Non-destructive Tumor Histology

Abstract

An Iodine perfused tumor was imaged using a dual-modality computed tomography and quantitative x-ray fluorescence tomography to obtain the vasculature distribution. The result was validated with lectin histology specified for vasculature staining.
