Photoconductive terahertz antenna with radial symmetry

Abstract

The use of coaxial waveguides with terahertz pulses is hindered by the difficulty in exciting the radially polarized fundamental mode. We propose a radially symmetric terahertz antenna and present simulations predicting the generation of a radially polarized beam.
