Coherent THz Cyclotron Oscillations in a Two-Dimensional Electron Gas

Abstract

Time-domain THz spectroscopy of a GaAs two-dimensional electron gas in magnetic fields reveals long-lived coherent cyclotron oscillations. The temperature dependence of extracted decay times shows three pronounced regions where different scattering mechanisms dominate.
