Influence of Progressive Addition Lenses on the Identification of Peripheral Visual Images

Abstract

The distortion produced by progressive addition lenses reduces performance in tasks requiring identification of peripheral images. A psychophysical test is described to assess the peripheral deficit produced by these lenses.
