Photorefraction and Videorefraction of Eyes: Past, Present, and Future

Abstract

In this paper I will review the recent history of photorefraction of the eye, as well as the newer, related, technique of videorefraction, and I will point out the strengths and weaknesses of the various methods as I see them. Lastly I will cite some problems and prospects I see in the future of these methods.
