Abstract

The Video Remote Keratometer (VRK) is an ophthalmic instrument that permits the measurement of corneal topography from a sufficiently large distance that the subject is not threatened by its presence. Young children are frequently troubled by the presence of instrumentation held close to their faces and become uncooperative.
