Abstract

We develop two different approaches to realize content-addressed or associative recall for phase-coded multiplexing, and present theoretical and experimental results of associate recall in phase-coded memory systems designed for digital data storage. Moreover, a comparison of the performance of associative recall in systems based on angular and phase-coded multiplexing is given.
