Abstract
The detailed theoretical investigation of the charge carrier transport in the crystals with shallow traps under applied square-wave ac field was carried out. It was found that under certain conditions the charge gratings on the deep donors and the shallow traps are in counter-phase to each other. Prevailing of the recombination mechanism of the charge grating formation over the photoexcitation mechanism is responsible for the counter-phase charge grating formation on the shallow traps. Formation of the counter-phase charge-gratings leads to such important effects as: latent storage of the recorded hologram under uniform illumination without the applied field and latent continuous recording of the charge gratings.
