Abstract
The formation of the phase-conjugated ring loop in a ring optical resonator of the Sagnac-type with a photorefractive Ba0.77Ca0.23TiO3 crystal (BCT) as an active medium is considered. The interplay of the reflection and transmission gratings is discussed. Using different experimental setups it is shown that the generation of the transmission grating and the phase-conjugated ring loop depends on the existence of the reflection grating. Temporal dependences of the formations of the gratings and the phase-conjugated ring loop are analyzed.
