Abstract

The latent associative holographic image forming analogy was discovered in the photothermoplastic carries based on the poly-N-epoxycarbazole films with the intermolecular complex with charge transition or merocianine dye additions and in the LiNbO3 photorefractive crystal. This analogy can be explained with the photogeneration charge carries with the long lifetime. The correlation between the concentration and lifetime of the generated carries, diffraction efficiency and latent image storage time were shown. The phenomenological model of the latent associative holographic image formation was proposed.
