Abstract

Experimental conditions to form not only straight but also curved waveguides using bright spatial solitons in LiNbO3 are presented and analyzed. In addition, robustness of spatial solitons against total internal reflection is demonstrated leading to realization of waveguides with zero-radius 90° turns.
