Abstract

One-dimensional photorefractive photonic lattices are optically induced in iron-doped lithium niobate by ordinarily polarized light irradiation of a He-Ne laser. Some features of both, discrete diffraction and spatial self-action of light beams within these lattices are experimentally investigated.
