Abstract

This volume of Trends in Optics and Photonics is a collection of papers selected from the contributions presented at the Tenth International Conference on Photorefractive Effects, Materials, and Devices held in Sanya, Hainan, China in July 19-23, 2005. The goal of this series of conferences, held once every two years, is to gather the community of scientists working on photorefractive materials and other photosensitive media. The conference attracts the leading scientists in the field to discuss the future development and new directions for photorefractive research.
