Abstract

The recent development of optical implementations of various data processing procedures created a demand for a sensitive all optical threshold device.(1) We henceforth present a possible mechanism for such a device, based on the coupling of mutually incoherent light beams by means of the fiber coupled phase conjugate mirror (FCPCM).(2,3)
