Abstract

The efficacy of photodynamic therapy (PDT) can be enhanced by combining photosensitizers (PS) with medical imaging modality. In our research, CT imaging contrast agent and PS were coencapsulated in nanoliposome for fluorescence imaging and CT guided PDT. It offers great promise as a theranostic agents uniting diagnostic and therapeutic features.
