Reduction of acoustic distortions by multi-stencils fast marching method in the linear array transducer based photoacoustic tomography

Abstract

The acoustic properties in biological tissue are inhomogeneous, resulting in the deterioration in the reconstructed photoacoustic image. By contrast, multi-stencils fast marching method could produce accurate speed map for the reduction of acoustic distortions.
