Abstract

The brain is the center of the nervous system. Slicing and imaging with optical microscope is an effective means to acquire the fine structure of the brain. However, the collection of the whole brain slice is a high-load work. In this study, we developed an automatic collection system that use sticky tape to achieve the collection of paraffin-embedded slices. We demonstrated that the collected brain slices can be used for immunohistochemistry studies.
