Abstract

It has been found, that some photorefractive materials, such as GaAs and BaTiO3, exhibit an intensity dependence in the absorption coefficient and the presense of absorption component of hologram grating [1,2]. We have shown in our previous paper [3], that hologram formation in photorefractive media has an amplitude - - phase character due to spatial redistribution of absorptive centres. For analysis we have used a band model with one type of photoactive centres.
