Abstract

Previously it was found [1] that during steady-state optical illumination of the photorefractive crystal LiNbO3:Fe along the optical axis by a focused laser beam (λ = 0.44 μn) the new effect (named "autowave scattering" (AWS) ) took place: we observed a periodic appearance of a scattering in the form of cones directed opposite the pump.
