Two-photon Absorption Enhancement with Gold Nanoantenna Array

Gold dipole nanoantennas which have strong local electromagnetic fields are used to enhance two-photon absorption. A 30 to 40 times enhancement is observed for BDPAS (4,4′-bis(diphenylamino)stilbene) at 600 nm.
