Silicon Nanorod Based Near-Infrared Ground Plane Cloak

Abstract

An improved implementation of optical frequency ground plane cloak was demonstrated using silicon nanorod array. The cloak performance was directly visualized by the near-field scanning optical microscopy. The experimental data agreed well with the numerical simulations.
