Cholesteric-Inorganic Hybrid Photorefractives

Abstract

The optical gain characteristics of hybrid cholesteric liquid crystal cells with inorganic photorefractive windows of Ce:SBN have been measured. Gain coefficients of up to 1400 cm−1 have been measured in the Bragg regime.
