Coherent Crosstalk Issues in Photonic Switched Networks

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

Coherent interference of optical signals in photonic switched networks can severely degrade performance and limit network scalability. In this talk we review the sources of coherent crosstalk and the impact on network architecture and potential solutions.
