Traffic Management in Multiservice Optical Network (ROM)

Abstract

This paper focuses on end-to-end traffic management between the client layer and multiservice optical network in the presence of different traffic types with different QoS requirements. We particularly study the impact of traffic shaping at the ROM periphery on the end-to- end performance in terms of loss and delay.
