Abstract

Planar-integrated substrate-mode optics for ps-pulse shaping is proposed. A 12ps 1550nm optical pulse is shaped to a pulse train by modulating its spectral distribution at the Fourier focal plane. Experimental results with 0 and π phase masks are presented.
