Implementation of Automatic Resources Adjustment for Optical Integrated Path and Packet Networks

Abstract

We implement a control function which automatically adjusts the amount of resources between path/packet according to the number of in-use lightpaths for optical integrated networks. The system achieves the automatic resources reallocation within 8 seconds.
