A Broadband Rearrangable Non-blocking MZI-based Thermo-optic O-band Switch in Silicon-on-Insulator

Abstract

A broadband O-band rearrangable non-blocking SOI thermo-optic 4×4 Beneš switch exhibiting 1.8±0.2 μs switching time is demonstrated. A 21 mW switching power consumption is achieved with payload transmission and dynamic switching capabilities.
