8×25 Gbps Transmitter based on Monolithically InP Integrated Directly Modulated Tunable DFB Lasers

Abstract

A fully packaged monolithically InP Integrated array of directly modulated DFB lasers individually tunable is presented. BER measurements have validated this simple array architecture for short range transmission up to 8×25 Gbps.
