A Lightpath Provisioning Method Integrating Resource for Primary and Backup Paths in Content Delivery Network over Elastic Optical Networks

Abstract

We propose a lightpath provisioning method in coordination with content placement and deflection routing strategies to realize advanced video streaming services over elastic optical networks and demonstrate 83% improvement of blocking probability.
