Fast 2 × 2 Mach-Zehnder Switch for Optical Interconnect Applications

Abstract

We present a 2 × 2 Mach-Zehnder switch circuit fabricated on LETI’s 200 mm Silicon Photonic platform. We demonstrate short switching time (1.5 ns), low optical crosstalk (<-31.3 dB) and low insertion loss (1.2 dB).
