Auto-configuration of Programmable Photonic Circuits

Abstract

Programmable photonic integrated circuits enable their reconfiguration through control electronics. In this paper we describe the key missing part of the ecosystem, the control algorithms that govern the circuit operation, focusing on arbitrary optical filters.
