Abstract

Hexagonal pure LaF3 and Yb/Er, Yb/Ho co-doped LaF3 nanostructures have been successfully synthesized via an efficient, environmentally mild hydrothermal route and the up-conversion luminescence properties were comprehensively investigated for photovoltaic devices such as solar cells.
