Plasmonic Metal Nitrides for Thin-Film Silicon Solar Cells

Abstract

We numerically investigate electromagnetic interactions with metal nitride nanoparticles and discuss potential applications for thin-film silicon solar cells. The results indicate strong local-field enhancement, particularly in the near infrared.
