Mass energy storage using off-river pumped hydro

Not Accessible

Your library or personal account may give you access

Abstract

Energy storage assists very high penetration of variable renewable energy sources such as wind and solar. In many regions short-term off-river pumped hydro energy storage can provide unlimited storage at far lower cost than alternatives.
