19.8% conversion efficiency in modulated surface textured IBC c-Si solar cells

Abstract

Design and fabrication of interdigitated back contacted c-Si solar cell with a modulated surface-textured front side is presented. Conversion efficiency of 19.8% and record external quantum efficiency of 78% at the wavelength of 300 nm were measured.
