Abstract

Nanowire-array solar cells with both core-multi-shell and axial junction were fabricated using catalyst-free selective-area metal-organic vapor phase epitaxy. Typical advantages are efficient light trapping and flexible solar cell by peeling off from the substrates. The conversion efficiencies of InP, GaAs, and InGaAs nanowires are from 4 to 8% at the moment under AM1.5G.
