Trans-scale global optimization of OLEDs on substrates with bulk scattering via radiative transfer theory

Abstract

This talk introduces an effective way to optimize the structure of OLEDs with scattering layers for maximal efficiency based on trans-scale simulation involving radiative transfer theory. Study reveals that very high efficiency is attainable.
