Perovskite Based Hyperbolic Metamaterials: Supercollimation in the Visible by Tailoring the Permittivity Properties

Abstract

Hyperbolic metamaterials exhibiting direct-transition from type-I to type-II in the mid- visible region are realized for the first time. They are characterized using angle resolved transmission and reflection measurements, exhibiting supercollimation effect at 589 nm.
