Organic solar cell surface structures based on diffraction-optimized aperiodic patterns for enhanced light harvesting

Abstract

We design and fabricate deterministic aperiodic surface structures on organic solar cells. Their diffractive properties are compared and optimized to maximize the increase of the active path length of sunlight and thus its absorption probability.
