Coherent Contrast Improvement by Cross-Polarized Wave Generation

Abstract

Contrast improvement filter based on cross-polarized wave generation is addressing the coherent contrast issue by flattening the spectral phase of the pulse. Theoretical and experimental evidence of this effect on pulse spectrum are presented.
