Long-range spin-qubit interaction in planar microcavities

Abstract

We study theoretically the coupling between localized spins mediated by itinerant polaritons in a planar micro-cavity. Due to their photon-like mass, polaritons provide an extremely long spin-coupling range, useful for the realization of two-qubit operations.
