Modeling Sub-Nanosecond Pulsed Laser Dynamics Using the Exponential Time Difference Method

Abstract

The authors show that the exponential time difference method is orders of magnitude faster than the standard finite difference time domain method to model the dynamics of longitudinally pumped sub-nanosecond pulsed dye lasers.
